Candle Labels

Just thought I would share my little project! I made some candles Tuesday night. But that's not what I really want to share. Check out the adorable labels that I made! I printed out the names on some designed inkjet paper, stamped the banner and used the coordinating die tool to cut them all out. Then ran them through my little X xyron sticker maker. The stamp set and die that I used is from the Certified Awesome set by Samantha at SP & Company. She's downsizing her store and discontinuing a ton of stuff! So if you want to get any of her awesome goodies, you better hurry on over to spandcompany.com!!

Project Life week 15

Hey! I'm doing good this week!! I did my layouts today AND I'm getting it blogged! Yay me!!!! lol So I decided to do a traditional type layout for this week. I've got one page front and back. The front shows the hale storm and the celebration of The Lord's Supper on Sunday. Then in the middle, the first picture shows how I scored 105 points on words with friends!!! I had to document that!!! I didn't even use the cheat app lol!!! The next picture is my new color :) Shelby is amazing with color! Each month I tell her to do what she wants, she hasn't failed me yet. And the third is of a report that I have to work. That particular day it had a "fartzooka" listed on it......really? Fartzooka? Who in the world would get their kid a toy called fartzooka? Finally the third row is of my dog, Rambo, bringing his food under the table to eat. Neither of my dogs like to eat at the dog bowl. They pick up a few pieces and walk somewhere else to eat it. The last picture is of a printer for work. I had sent one out for repair and this is what I got back! I thought they had sent a broken one back to me, but nope. Just didn't clean it up or take off the rubber band that probably had held it together lol. I created a pull out, folded mat to document everything on. I attached a page tab to it and tucked it behind the picture of my nephew. Supplies used for the front page: background page is fron DCWV: La Bella Rouge (thanks to Julie for sharing!!), tan card stock, Heidi Swap stamps (for the pull out), Spellbinders Creative Page Tabs, Tim Holtz distress ink in Walnut stain, blue cardstock, and I cut the "week 15" using my gypsy and cricut expression and the Cricut Classic Font cartridge.
On the back page: My son was going to be out of school on Friday so he came over a day early. The first picture show us all relaxing to watch the second Hobbit movie. On Friday my son was texting me about going to see a movie so I thought I would scrapbook that lol. In the middle is a picture of my son. We were having dinner at Applebee's before the movie. After dinner, the three of us went to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier. About 30 minutes into the movie, sirens started going off and a very calm recording said "An Emergency has been reported. Please make your way to the nearest emergency exit". There was absolutely no one in sight from the theatre. It was weird. We could hear fire truck sirens in the distance. We were all out there for only about 5 minutes before a guy from the theatre came out and said it was a false alarm and we could go back in. The bottom is our movie tickets and the surprise happy mail that I found in my mailbox when we got back that night. She sent me a ton of awesome flowers, an album she made with her cricut, and a beautiful altered box full of goodies!! It was the PERFECT end to a really great week!! Supplies used for the back page: background paper is Imaginisce-It's A Party, orange cardstock, Tim Holtz sizzlets die- Ticket Strip, Tickt stamps are also from Tim Holtz- Stampers Anonymous: Odds and Ends, Sudio G orange ink, & T.H. distress ink in Walnut Stain.

Project Life weeks 13 & 14

Since I didn't have a whole lot of pictures for week 13, I decided that I would wait on a blog post and combine it with 14. Course, I got these done last Sunday but have been so lazy this week, that I didn't post at all. Better late than never right! These are things that I want to work on before starting a crafty business. Getting on routines and keeping up with them! I used my newest Studio Calico PL kit: Bluegrass Farm to do these layouts. Week 13 is just the back of week 12, at "G" layout. But for 14 I used an "I" and a "h". I like switching up the layouts in my album. Keeps things interesting lol. Week 13 I went to the doctor and got more medicine. I started feeling better almost immediately! I also show my in-laws new furniture and my dog Anne. Usually when hubby picks me up from work, he brings Rambo (my little terrier-mix). But that particular day, they were suppose to come spray the apartments in our building. We can't lock Anne up but can crate Rambo, so he brought Anne! Week 14 was a full week! I announced the winner for my 99 subbie give away, did some coloring on the new TGF stamp that I got, made a cake for my baby boy, and received my new kit. I also threw in some great family time pics like Anne being silly with a stuffed animal, Anne hoping for hubby to drop some chicken that he was carving up, and a not so great burger from Whataburger. I always order my burger without onions (from anyplace). And a lot of times they forget and leave onions on it anyway. When we got home, I saw the "No Onion" sticker on my package and was happy that they got it right. But my first bite was riddled with onion flavor! Y-U-C-K!!! The biggest event was my baby boy's birthday. FIFTEEN YEARS OLD!! I was sad all day. I just can't believe he's so grown up! But he really is the best kid any mom could ask for!!!! Well without further rambling, here are my layouts! lol

Project Life weeks 11 & 12

I'm all caught up! Well with the exception of week 13 that I should have done today. But I only have 4 or 5 pictures for it and I decided I will just do it next weekend along with week 14. So for weeks 11 and 12 I used my PL Polka Dot Party Edition mini kit by Dear Lizzy. I used an assortment of embellishments from studio calico, SP&Co, home made enamel dots, etc. Week 11 is one design D, front and back. Week 11 is one design A, front and back along with the front side of a design G. I spent the entire day Thursday working on these while I got caught up on a series that my husband got me hooked on, Game of Thrones. Well, as always, enjoy the pictures!

Weeks 9 & 10 of Project Life!

I let myself get behind on project life! I got my weeks 9 & 10 done last week and will work on 11 & 12 this week. I've had a lot going on the last few weeks. I really meant to have 11/12 done this past weekend but I came down with an upper repertory infection. Boo! I thought it was getting better but I had to go back to the doctor today and even have to miss work. I haven't called into work in over 8 years!! Anywho.....PL! Both layouts are only one page, front and back. I used my Studio Calico, March kit "Office Hours" to fix 'em up! I also use some washi, various stamps and my very own home-made enamel dots! So without further ado... here are weeks 9 and 10! :)
