Project Life week 15
Hey! I'm doing good this week!! I did my layouts today AND I'm getting it blogged! Yay me!!!! lol So I decided to do a traditional type layout for this week. I've got one page front and back. The front shows the hale storm and the celebration of The Lord's Supper on Sunday. Then in the middle, the first picture shows how I scored 105 points on words with friends!!! I had to document that!!! I didn't even use the cheat app lol!!! The next picture is my new color :) Shelby is amazing with color! Each month I tell her to do what she wants, she hasn't failed me yet. And the third is of a report that I have to work. That particular day it had a "fartzooka" listed on it......really? Fartzooka? Who in the world would get their kid a toy called fartzooka? Finally the third row is of my dog, Rambo, bringing his food under the table to eat. Neither of my dogs like to eat at the dog bowl. They pick up a few pieces and walk somewhere else to eat it. The last picture is of a printer for work. I had sent one out for repair and this is what I got back! I thought they had sent a broken one back to me, but nope. Just didn't clean it up or take off the rubber band that probably had held it together lol. I created a pull out, folded mat to document everything on. I attached a page tab to it and tucked it behind the picture of my nephew. Supplies used for the front page: background page is fron DCWV: La Bella Rouge (thanks to Julie for sharing!!), tan card stock, Heidi Swap stamps (for the pull out), Spellbinders Creative Page Tabs, Tim Holtz distress ink in Walnut stain, blue cardstock, and I cut the "week 15" using my gypsy and cricut expression and the Cricut Classic Font cartridge.
On the back page: My son was going to be out of school on Friday so he came over a day early. The first picture show us all relaxing to watch the second Hobbit movie. On Friday my son was texting me about going to see a movie so I thought I would scrapbook that lol. In the middle is a picture of my son. We were having dinner at Applebee's before the movie. After dinner, the three of us went to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier. About 30 minutes into the movie, sirens started going off and a very calm recording said "An Emergency has been reported. Please make your way to the nearest emergency exit". There was absolutely no one in sight from the theatre. It was weird. We could hear fire truck sirens in the distance. We were all out there for only about 5 minutes before a guy from the theatre came out and said it was a false alarm and we could go back in. The bottom is our movie tickets and the surprise happy mail that I found in my mailbox when we got back that night. She sent me a ton of awesome flowers, an album she made with her cricut, and a beautiful altered box full of goodies!! It was the PERFECT end to a really great week!! Supplies used for the back page: background paper is Imaginisce-It's A Party, orange cardstock, Tim Holtz sizzlets die- Ticket Strip, Tickt stamps are also from Tim Holtz- Stampers Anonymous: Odds and Ends, Sudio G orange ink, & T.H. distress ink in Walnut Stain.
